Women's Issues
I am a firm supporter of pay equality and the tenets behind the Lilly Ledbetter Act. There is no reason for there to be a gender disparity in this country and I:
- Will do everything I can to close the gap while in Congress
- Believe in protecting a woman’s right to choose but strongly support measures that protect and ensure the safety of a woman’s choice to carry their pregnancy to term; regardless of financial or personal situation
- In sum, I believe in standing behind American women regardless of a difficult personal situation or unplanned pregnancy
